Bulgarian Internet Sucks!!! Arrrgh!!
So it took about 5 min for this page to load...what is up with that? Well i guess i am in a 2nd world country...So..it has been days since i last posted...but that's because the internet sucks here! Well, i emailed everyone that i was visiting my site...and i did...and it's great. I hiked around in the pirin mountains which have the craziest rock formations...including one called the turtle rock. And i we went to an old church in a cave with a beautiful marble bridge and stream running under it....abosulutley breathtaking...i took a ton of pics and when i get to my set and settled in and have my own puter ill definately upload some pics.
well, my counterpart is very nice. except when i spent the night at her house i had to meet her bf who is a total prick...and gave me dirty looks the whole time i was there. and her friends who i know spoke fluent english spoke in bulgarian the whole time and never translated any of the conversation for or even aknowledged my presence. First mean bulgarians ive run into.
Oh...my site is like 15 mins from Spartacus's home town...pretty cool, huh? bet you didnt know he was bulgarian. Well, on Friday i left on the 6:30am bus for Plovdiv where i planned on going to a rock club by myself but i ran into another PST, Grant, and convinced him to stay in Plovdiv for the night with me for the Karmentiza Beer Fest! He did, and we ran into some other PST's and we all got some beds in the hostel and headed over to the beer fest (which we had no idea was happening) and Drank a ton of beer, ate cheeseburgers from mcDonalds, and i skanked in the pouring ran to a Bulgarian Ska band with a ton of Bulgarian punks and skin heads. Very memorable. Then we went to some clubs and i met a cute bulgarian boy who walked me home. If only i could remember his name! He gave me his number too....but what do i say "Oh, Hey You!" Mo Problems.
After partying in Plovdiv i headed back to the Strelch-Nasty for some R&R bulgarian style. Food, Sleep, and Tv...oh wait that's American too!
Last night they tried to serve me chicken hearts for dinner! Yuck! i refused them and stuck to the perjane kertofe (french fries) and eggs. Peace OUt , gotta catch my bus! Lots of love! Love always, Shaina Rose

I miss you!!! The other day I was on a car trip of sorts and someone put in Weezer-Pinkerton and I thought about Sophomore year and listening to that CD while we were getting ready in the morning and I damn near cried! Where is my music lovin' buddy!
Bulgaria sounds wonderful and I think that's awesome that weed grows wild there! Have you tried any? It sounds like you've been drinking a lot of beer! I want to send you a letter and I shall!

Hi!!! I got your postcard! Bulgaria looks alot differant that I imagined it did! That was excinting! Angleo says to tell you "hey"..so I am.
I was so happy when I got the postcard..I was starting to wonder if you were ever going to talk to me again! just kidding...how could you not!? I like to think of myself as the hightlight of your life! (i'd like you to think of me that way as well, while we're on the subject).
Everything is groovy here..i'm spending way to much money on music, i think..but I keep thinking.."well, if i get this c.d. I can make a copy and send it to shaina, so she has new music"..so thanks for giving me a reason to buy stuff. (as if i needed one!).
I got my live scan fingerprinting done todoay so that I can be bonded with the Secretary of States office to start my Notary Public duties..did I tell you that I passed the test?! I'm now offically a Notary Pubilc! Whoop di do! now I can sign other peoples documents for 10 dollars a pop.
although, now that I've got my fingerprints on file with the state, i need to make sure that I don't commit any crimes..note to self! Its going to be terribly tought I know.
Recbeck, Tony and Owen got there Halloween costumes, (well they are coming in the mail sometime soon).
They are going to all be pirates..Owen and Rebeckas costumes are really really cute..Tony's kinda looks a little funny, but I won't be telling him that, as I'm sure you can imagine! (I hope he doesn't read this!)
Not sure what I'm going to be yet..im leaning towards a demented Tooth Fairy..I want to wear like a nurses outfit and dress it up with wings and blood and maybe attach some fake teeth and blood, like i've just been ripping them out of people. I need to work out the kinks first though.
Dara wants to be a dead pregnant bride. It'll be really cool if she can pull of the pregnant thing and not look like she has a pillow under her dress!
