Ha Ha Suckas!
Just when i was starting to get homesick...Bush became president again!! Thank god i wont be there for half of his term...
well...about a half an hour ago i wrote a long witty detailed narritve of my past exploits since my last post. However, just as i was putting my finishing touches on the grand finale...poof the power went out and i lost it all...i was right in the middle of a tirade directed at those who voted for bush with out taking my safety into consideration and my close proximity to Iraq. If anything...they should have voted for Kerry just to keep me safe...
Well, here's a quick snipit of what ive been upto...i went to a haloween party and got really sick. Dr. Robert, yep...how cool is that...i actually have my very own Dr. Robert...all you beatles fans know what im talking about...well, he came and visisted me and told me it was just a viral infection and that i should have gotten a flu shot. Unforutnately, mooma always told me not to get them that theyre only for old people and babies...DAMN YOU MOTHER! jk :)
Yesterday i spent the day in Blagoevgrad....went to the American University and spent a few hours in the library and then went to a bookstore that sold about 4 english books. then i caught the bus home.
Tomorrow i am going to help build a platform to put dead carcasses on for feeding to vultures and other raptors. Should be fun.
All in all, things are looking up...i have a kitchen...i can cook food now...and we all know how happy food makes me!!!
That's about it for now. Hopefully i will have internet in my apt soon so ill be able to update my blog daily. i know ive been promising daily updates since i got here but hey, what can i say, i work with what ive got. Im in the peace corps after all!
If Jenny Jen Jen is reading this...have you been getting my text messages on your cell phone? I know shannon has! Oh that reminds me of a funny story...
The other morning i was walking up to the Obshtina "aka muninincipality" where i work, and there was communist music blaring over the square...a chill in the air...and like 20 women outside sweeping the square...i was discombobulated for a second and thought i had been transported to some commie country...when i realized that i had...crazy.
Shannon already heard that one.
And hey Kira...if you could make me curtains with mushrooms on them that would be sooooooo cool! i would love them. do i have to measure my windows? And man...your blog totally blows me away....mine is so plain!
Jamie Lou...where are U? Why have there been no comments in so long?????? im getting worried...you cant be 2 busy at work to comment on my blog can you???
and DAD AND GENIE!!! I have emailed you guys...have you recieved them? because i have heard nothing from you either in quite some time! What IS GOING ON???
hmm...lets see...thats about it...Love to my sistahs in sac town...and little baby owen who i hear is not so much baby anymore :(

Look behind door #1! J/K...Sorry for not posting, my damn attorney has been a nazi lately (big deals, very little time)....
By the way..Friday I got my comission from the Secretary of State for my notary..I am officially a California Notary..my comission package came with a Sealed Certificate signed by Kevin Shelly..very exciting!
Im so stoked you can get text messages...I know that Dara and I can text message for free, but im not sure that includes oversea numbers, oh well...If can't tell how much Im spending when Im doing it, then I dont really care!
I can't belive its almost Thanksgiving...Dara and Rebecka and Owen are visiting your mom for like 5 days before Thanksgiving and then they are coming back here for the big day...Rebecka, Tony, and Owen are going to Tony's uncles for Thanksgiving, Poor Rebecka won't be able to eat anything at the PORK loving family's house! :( Dara is coming to my mom's house, and mom has graciously agreed to not use turkey stock in the vegtables and mash potatoes as to allow Dara the pleasure of eating the dinner...(Dara has to bring her own gravy and stuffing)..damned picky eaters..bring on the beef!
Angleo and I watched the Passion of the Christ last night, finally. It wasn't nearly as tough to watch as I thought it was going to be, although there was all these weird parts with demons that Im not so sure about. and then there was this lady wrapped in a black shroud, that I can only assume was Satan, but who knows.
Angelo cried a few times..poor guy. Kahlil kept distracting my with his awesome Pro Skater moves, that just had to be shown off..so i wasn't in the Passion mood i guess. Im a bad christian.
We had our terrific spa day for the ladies at work...did I tell you? The female attorneys (there are three of them) hosted a spa day for the suport staff here (all ladies) and they treated us to a day at the spa..we got on hour deep tissue massage, a facial, and a pedicure and manicure, and then we had awesome cocktails at this womens house in Rancho Murieta (VERY FANCY) and they took us to dinner at the Slough House (by my dads) and then we went back to Rancho Murieta and got drunk with the left over cocktails (Lemon Drops, Margiretas, Carmel Appletinis)...yummy!
Next month we have our annual Christmas Dinner at the Sutter Club (it,s right next to the capitol, a swanky little members only kind of thing) we have and open bar and dinner, and we have to dress up all fancy..its going to be so exciting!
Well, I guess thats all for now...my attorney is yelling for me from across the office, I guess that means that I should go...ugh!
